Kesari Chapter 2 Box Office Collection Day 6: Akshay Kumar Starrer Struggles To Cross 50 Crore Mark
‘Kesari Chapter 2’, starring Akshay Kumar and R. Madhavan, is making waves at the box office. Produced by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, the film has crossed the Rs 40 crore milestone within six days of its release. As per the latest figures from Sacnilk.com, the movie earned Rs 3.20 crore on Wednesday, despite it being a working day, bringing its total earnings to Rs 42.20 crore.
Akshay Kumar's Kesari Chapter 2 box office collection
This marked the film's lowest single-day earnings so far. ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ debuted with a strong Rs 7.75 crore on its opening day (April 18), and while it managed to sustain its momentum over the next few days, the box office numbers showed only moderate growth, despite receiving positive feedback from both fans and critics.
The film saw a slight increase in its collections on Tuesday, earning around Rs 5 crore, likely due to reduced ticket prices. However, despite the positive reception, it appears that ‘Kesari Chapter 2’ may not be the film that breaks Akshay Kumar’s streak of consecutive flops. With an opening day collection of Rs 7.75 crore, the film has yet to cross the Rs 50 crore mark even after a week at the box office.

The ABP Live review of the film reads: Calling Kesari Chapter 2 a “film” doesn’t quite do it justice. It’s an immersive experience that grips you from the very first frame. You don’t just watch the pain of the Jallianwala Bagh victims—you feel it. Their screams echo in your ears. You share the same fury that burned inside Sankaran Nair. The film doesn’t let go—not for a second. This is not the kind of movie where you check your phone midway. In fact, Akshay Kumar himself once said that watching such cinema with full attention is the respect it deserves—and he’s absolutely right.
