Sonepat’s Mudra cracks test twice

Mudra Raheja of Jeewan Nagar has brought laurels to her family by cracking the UPSC civil services exam for the second time, securing the 252nd rank.

Mudra has improved her rank by 161 points in comparison to the previous year. She had secured the 413 the rank last year, and was selected as an IPS officer. She is currently doing her IPS training in Hyderabad.

Her father, Rajesh Raheja, is a businessman while her mother, Mamta, is a homemaker.

Mudra had appeared for the Madhya Pradesh public civil services (PCS) exam, and had been selected as a Treasury Officer.

After this, she cracked the Haryana civil services exams, securing the sixth position in the state in her second attempt. She was selected as a Haryana Police Services (HPS) officer. But she didn’t stop there, and cracked the Uttar Pradesh PCS examination in her third attempt, securing the second rank. However, she was determined to crack the UPSC exam. Ranked 413th the first time she cracked the exam, she prepared again to improve her rank as she wanted to become an IAS officer, her mother said.
