Pahalgam Attack | Amit Shah Meets Families Of Victims, Assures Them "Terrorists Won't Be Spared" At least 26 civilians, mostly tourists, were killed in a terror attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir's Anantnag district on Tuesday, in what is the deadliest attack in the Valley since the Pulwama strike in 2019. The attack took place at Baisaran, a meadow accessible only on foot or by pony, where a group of tourists had gone visiting on Tuesday morning. The Resistance Front, a shadow group of the banned Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terror group, claimed responsibility for the attack, but a government statement confirming the same is awaited.
