School Time Change: School timings changed in many districts of UP, new time announced
UP Schools New Time: Due to the increasing heat in many districts of Uttar Pradesh, school timings have been changed. These steps are being taken by the administration keeping in mind the safety of students in the heat.
Schools New Time: The heat wave has started increasing in Uttar Pradesh. The school timings have been changed for school going children in many districts of the state. The timings of UP schools have been officially released by the district administration. Now according to the new time, UP schools will open between 7 am to 7.30 am and will run from 12 noon to 7.30 pm.
If we talk about Agra, all schools from class 1 to 8 will continue here from 7 am to 12 noon. Apart from this, schools in Pratapgarh and Amethi are going to open from 7:30 to 12:30 pm. This decision has been taken to protect the school children from the heat. Amethi DM Sanjay Chauhan and Pratapgarh DM Shiv Sahay Awasthi have issued orders in this regard.
The Basic Education Officer of Unnao has issued a letter in this regard, in which it is written – The Director of Education (Basic), Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, letter number-Shivni (Basic) / Niyojan / 1614-1708/2025-26 dated 11 April 2025 has directed the schools to make timely changes keeping in mind the heat wave and heat.
In compliance with the said letter, all the council, government, aided and recognized board schools of the district running from pre-primary to class 1 to 8 will be operated from 07:30 am to 12:30 pm from 22-04-2025 till further orders.
Also, as per the instructions and guidelines of the Basic Education Department regarding heat wave given by the National Disaster Management Authority, Government of India, New Delhi, keeping in view the outdoor physical activities of children in all educational institutions, closure should be ensured and outdoor physical activities should not be done by the students.
