Pahalgam Attack: 'Played Cards, Had Fun Night'; Hours Before Newly-Wed UP Man Was Shot Dead By Pakistani Terrorists (Video)
A video capturing the final moments of joy enjoyed by Shubham Dwivedi, a newly-wed man from Kanpur, who was shot dead by Pakistani terrorists, has surfaced online. The clip showed him playing UNO cards and spending quality time with his wife and dear ones during his vacation to Kashmir. Hours after the clip was filmed, Dwivedi was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack on Tuesday.
His wife reportedly posted this reel on social media a night before the tragic incident. It showed Shubham participating in a game of Uno with his wife and another couple. Dressed casually with a bedsheet wrapped around his lower body, the man was seen sitting on the bed next to his wife, smiling and laughing as he passed cards to another player.

The video opened with his words, saying, “Aur colour changes to green", suggesting his deep involvement and joy in the game.
The video was captioned "to fun nights".
On Tuesday, while still vacationing in the picturesque town of Pahalgam, Shubham’s breath was brutally brought down. According to his family members, terrorists opened fire in the area, allegedly after asking their names.
His wife was left kneeling and grieving beside his lifeless body later, and an image of this heartbreaking scene has since gone viral and triggered a wave of mourning and outrage across social media.
Shubham was married on February 12, 2025, and had travelled to Kashmir with his wife for a post-wedding holiday.
His cousin, Saurabh Dwivedi, told ANI, “Shubham Bhaiya got married on February 12 this year. He was in Pahalgam with his wife. My sister-in-law called my uncle and told him that Shubham was shot in the head. We’ve been informed that the body will be released after 2-3 days once all the formalities are completed.”
At least 25 tourists lost their lives in the recent attack, while many lost their dear family members in it.
