Due to severe heat in Mainpuri, District Magistrate Anjani Kumar Singh has changed the timing of all schools up to class eight. Now schools will open from 7 am to 12 noon. BSA has informed all the schools about this. Schools have been instructed to arrange for ORS and cold water and outdoor activities have been banned.

School timings changed: In view of the outbreak of severe heat, DM Anjani Kumar Singh has changed the timing of all schools up to class eight. From Saturday, schools will be operated only from 7 am to 12 noon.

As per the instructions of the District Magistrate, BSA has issued a letter in this regard to the headmasters of all boards.

Outbreak of severe heat

The heat has started showing its effect from now on. The temperature has reached 40 degrees Celsius. In such a situation, children are facing the most problems. Due to heat, health is also getting adversely affected. In view of the health of the children, as per the instructions of the DM, BSA Deepika Gupta issued a circular of time change on Friday.

According to the circular, schools up to class eight of all boards will operate from 7 am to 12 noon from Saturday till further orders. At the same time, teachers will have to stay in council schools till 1 pm and perform departmental work.

This arrangement will be made mandatory for all schools-

  • Digital monitors will have to be installed so that the record of heat and heatwave can be seen.
  • Adequate arrangements of ORS packets will have to be made in schools so that they can be given to the children.
  • Along with cold water, adequate arrangements of shade and air in the rooms will be mandatory.
  • Students will not participate in any kind of outdoor activity.
