Mumbai News: Bandra Police Register FIR Against 11 For Dangerous Motorcycle Stunts And Public Nuisance

The Bandra police registered an FIR against 11 persons for allegedly performing dangerous stunts and creating noise while riding motorcycles at 2am on Sunday. The accused, aged between 18 and 31, performed stunts at Kombadi Galli, under the 'U' bridge near Mahim Causeway in Bandra West. 

According to the FIR, the group was seen riding their bikes at high speed, performing stunts, and creating a public nuisance by making excessive noise. Their actions were considered dangerous and posed a threat to the lives and safety of others.

The accused are residents of Mahim West, Ghatkopar West, Santacruz East, Chembur East, Andheri East, and Govandi West. Some of them are students, while others are employed in private jobs.

The accused are: Amaan Chauhan,28, Shubham Bhosale, 19, Arhan Patel,18, Rehan Sheikh,19, Istekam Sheikh,25, Afzal Khan, 26, Zuber Sheikh, 24, Gurmandsingh Purewal, 20, Guransh Koli,18, and Afzal Khan, 31.

The case has been registered under Sections 281 (rash driving or riding on a public way) and 125 (act endangering life or personal safety of others) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, along with Section 184 (dangerous driving practices, including speeding, jumping red lights, and reckless behaviour) of the Motor Vehicles Act.

Meanwhile, the police continue to take action against persons performing stunts on public roads, although such incidents keep recurring despite repeated enforcement.
