AR Rahman reveals his nighttime work routine and early morning visits to Dargah: 'I wake up at 2:30 am and go to sleep around 7 am'

Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman prefers working at night, finding it more peaceful and productive. He avoids Mumbai’s daytime traffic by traveling late and follows a reversed sleep schedule, waking at 2:30 am. Inspired by Lata Mangeshkar, he practices riyaz daily for 30–40 minutes to maintain his musical discipline.
