Gujarat: Rentio Tuver Dal Celebrates 90 Years Of Legacy In Ahmedabad
Rentio Tuver Dal, one of India’s most trusted names in traditional dal products, celebrated its 90th anniversary with a grand event held on Sunday at Hotel Hyatt, Vastrapur, Ahmedabad. The celebration marked a major milestone in the brand’s legacy, which began in 1935 in Navapur, a region that was then part of North Maharashtra.
The event brought together distributors, wholesalers, retailers, business partners, and special guests who have been key contributors to the brand’s long-standing success. The day was filled with nostalgia, pride, and a deep appreciation for the values of quality and consistency that Rentio has upheld for nearly a century.
Addressing the gathering, Sheetal Chokhawala Vani, CEO of Rentio Tuver Dal, expressed gratitude to generations of loyal consumers and stakeholders who have stood by the brand. “Rentio’s journey began in a time before India’s independence, and since then, we’ve strived to deliver purity and tradition in every grain. Our 90-year milestone is not just about longevity, but about trust earned over time,” she said.
Rentio produces 80 to 100 metric tonnes of dal daily and has an annual turnover between Rs. 150 to Rs. 200 crore. While Tuver Dal remains the flagship product, the brand also offers Moong Dal, Chana Dal, Jowar, and organic rice. With operations expanding globally, Rentio products are now exported to the UK, USA, Canada, Singapore, and Dubai, and the brand holds official registrations in India, the UK, and the US.
What sets Rentio apart is its commitment to traditional milling methods and unadulterated quality. Despite the influx of modern food processing techniques, the brand retains the authentic flavor that has made it a kitchen staple in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and across India.
