World's first 10G broadband network launched in China: How fast is 10G

China has launched its first commercial 10-Gigabit broadband network in Sunan County, Hebei Province, in collaboration with Huawei and China Unicom. This ultra-fast network, utilizing 50G PON technology, delivers download speeds up to 9.8 Gbps and upload speeds around 1 Gbps, significantly enhancing high-bandwidth applications and positioning China at the forefront of broadband technology.
