Solapur Shocker: 4-Year-Old Aarohi Killed In Stone-Pelting Incident On Vijayapura-Raichur Passenger Train
In a shocking incident, a four-year-old girl was killed in a stone-pelting attack on the Vijayapura-Raichur passenger train on Sunday. The girl's name was Shivani alias Aarohi Ajit Kangre. Police said that a search is underway to identify the person who threw the stone.
Aarohi was returning to her home in Hosnal taluka on Sunday after a pilgrimage on the Vijayapura-Raichur passenger train. An unknown person threw stones at the moving train near Hotgi village. Aarohi was seriously injured in the incident and was taken to a government hospital in Solapur. However, she died before receiving treatment.
Tikekarwadi is a small railway station near Solapur city. The Vijayapura-Raichur passenger train, coming from Karnataka, had just departed from Tikekarwadi station. At that time, Aarohi was sitting near the window. The stone, thrown by an unknown person from outside, struck Aarohi on the head. The impact was so severe that she sustained critical injuries. Blood began to flow from her head, leaving her parents terrified.
Meanwhile, an investigation into the incident is ongoing. Police have confirmed that efforts are being made to trace the individual responsible for throwing the stone.
Earlier, in the first week of January this year, a similar stone-pelting incident occurred in Solapur on the Mumbai-Solapur Vande Bharat Express.
