Actress Disha Patani's sister, Khushboo Patani, made headlines after she recently rescued an abandoned girl child in Bareilly, and won the hearts of netizens. A former Major in the Indian Army, Khushboo shared a video on her social media handle, in which she can be seen saving the little girl and rushing her to the hospital.

Khushboo consoled the crying child and carried her in her arms, all the while expressing frustration over her parents abandoning her. However, in a separate post, she clarified that the girl was not abandoned by the parents, but was rather kidnapped, and abandoned by the kidnappers later.

The toddler has now been reunited with her parents, and she also received proper care and treatment, thanks to Khushboo.

Who is Khushboo Patani?

Khushboo's brave and selfless gesture won over the internet and netizens lauded her for the act. For those unversed, Khushboo was a part of the Indian Army for 11 years.

"As an ex-Indian Army Major, I encountered various life situations and met thousands of people in just 11 years. Living in so many places and experiencing so much opened up all my wisdom and transformed me into a different person," she wrote in her blog.

Post her exit from the Army, Khushboo is now a full-time wellness coach with over 15 years of experience in meditation practices. She also has a certification in nutrition and fitness training, and is a certified and experienced counsellor.

The 33-year-old also has an active Youtube channel where she posts videos about leading a healthy lifestyle, easy workouts, mental health, and similar topics. She shares those videos along with content on other social issues on her Instagram handle as well.

Netizens laud Khushboo's act

Soon after Khushboo's video of rescuing the girl child went viral, netizens praised her for the good work. Celebs too lauded her spirit. Disha commented, "Bless you de and the little girl," while Bhumi Pednekar wrote, "God bless her and you".

"Good job done Major khushboo patani ji dil se appreciated ur kindness humanity and great positive mindset (sic)," a netizen commented, and another gushed, "Today you have moved me and made servicemen and women proud and proved yet again that we are better humans in uniform (sic)."
