Scientists discover bizarre dinosaur fossil with sloth-like arms and deadly claws that lived 95 million years ago
In Mongolia's Gobi Desert, paleontologists unearthed Duonychus tsogtbaatari, a novel therizinosaur species from 90-95 million years ago. This plant-eating dinosaur, related to meat-eaters, possessed a sloth-like build with unique two-fingered hands, setting it apart from its relatives. Its claws, complete with preserved keratin sheaths, suggest a specialized feeding behavior.
