In Maharashtra’s Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, thieves attempting to rob the Maharashtra Gramin Bank's Baijapur branch caused a devastating fire. While trying to break into the bank using a gas cutter, the gas cylinder exploded before they could breach the lock, leading to a major blast and fire that gutted the entire bank. Fearing for their lives, the thieves abandoned their car and fled the scene. Authorities are now searching for the culprits. In Uttar Pradesh’s Amethi, a speeding car carrying wedding guests lost control and crashed into a tree, immediately catching fire. Five passengers, though injured, managed to escape the burning vehicle. Police and fire brigades responded swiftly, but the car was completely destroyed. Meanwhile, in Bihar’s Buxar, a truck caught fire on the Patna-Delhi National Highway near Naya Bhojpuri. The intense blaze disrupted traffic temporarily. Fire brigades and police worked together to extinguish the fire after a long struggle.
