There is one more inquiry pending against the suspended cop for alleged brutality on two cybercriminals.
Radhey Shyam, a former incharge of the cow task force in Nuh, was popular among cow vigilantes and Bajrang Dal activists. Opposing his arrest, they have threatened to launch a protest and demanded a fresh inquiry into the allegations, accusing the victim of framing him Meanwhile, some Nuh residents have welcomed the move by posting on social media older complaints against Radhey Shyam accusing him of brutality in cow smuggling cases.
According to the Palwal police, the victim in the December incident hailed from Rajasthan and was brought in for an alleged fraud of around Rs 12,000. In his complaint, the victim alleged that rather than holding a regular inquiry, Radhey Shyam brutally thrashed him.
