Army’s 15th Infantry Division holds outreach programme for NCC cadets

In an initiative taken to inspire and guide the youth towards a future of purpose and service, an outreach programme was organised by the 15th Infantry Division of the Army at BBK DAV College for Women, for NCC cadets of Amritsar Group.

The event saw an enthusiastic and deeply engaging interaction between the cadets and Col KA Visakh, who made a comprehensive presentation aimed at empowering the NCC cadets with knowledge, direction and motivation.

Col Visakh, with his vast experience and passion for mentoring, eloquently highlighted the noble mission of the armed forces in nation-building and how the youth of today are vital in carrying this torch forward.

He shed light on the immense opportunities that the armed forces offer not just as a career, but as a way of life that fosters leadership, discipline and a deep commitment to the service of the nation.

The session proved to be an eye-opener for the cadets, as it addressed the preparations required for competitive examinations like the Services Selection Board (SSB) and other entry routes into the armed forces.

He emphasised that the armed forces stand committed to supporting and guiding young aspirants, announcing that more such awareness capsules and preparation modules will be conducted regularly to assist cadets in their journey towards joining the forces.

This outreach reflects the deep synergy between the Indian Army and the NCC, united in their goal to build a generation of strong, responsible and patriotic citizens.

The cadets expressed immense enthusiasm and gratitude, stating that such interactions play a pivotal role in shaping their aspirations during these crucial formative years.
