Dr Vikas Divyakirti is a famous teacher who has been greatly impressed by the success of one of his students, Divya hence, he considers Divya Tanwar one of his favourite students. Divya’s journey demonstrates that if there is a desire to achieve something in one’s mind, no matter how big the difficulties may be, they can be overcome.

Divya Tanwar was born in a small village called Nimbi in the Mahendragarh district of Haryana. Her father passed away when she was very young, after which her mother Babita Tanwar supported the family by working as a labourer and financed her daughter’s education.

After completing her primary education at Navodaya Vidyalaya, Divya obtained a B.Sc. degree from Government Women’s College, Mahendragarh. Always bright in her studies, Divya decided to prepare for the UPSC exams. In 2021, at just 21 years of age, Divya took the UPSC exam for the first time and achieved a rank of 438, becoming the youngest IPS officer in the country. Despite becoming the youngest IPS officer, Divya had other aspirations; she wanted to become an IAS officer.

The very next year, she took the UPSC exam again and fulfilled her dream by securing the 105th rank to become an IAS officer. Today, Divya has become an example not only for her peers but for the entire country.
