Rain ALERT: Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert for heavy rain with dust storm in Delhi

Delhi Thunderstorm Rain ALERT: A strange weather has been seen in Delhi NCR for the last few days. While during the day, people have to face strong sunlight and scorching heat, in the evening the weather is becoming pleasant due to strong winds and rain. The weather department has warned of thunderstorm and rain for today as well. IMD has issued a week’s forecast in which a warning of dust storm and rain has been given today i.e. Sunday. The weather department has also issued a yellow alert for this.
According to IMD, the sky will be partly cloudy in the evening. Very light rain, drizzle, thunder, lightning, dust storm may occur in the evening and night. The wind speed can reach 30 to 40 km per hour. Apart from this, the maximum temperature in Delhi is likely to remain between 38 to 40 degree Celsius.
After this, partly cloudy weather may remain on 21 April as well. The Meteorological Department has said that continuous surface winds will blow at a speed of up to 35 km per hour. During this time, the maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to remain between 39 to 41 degrees Celsius and 24 to 26 degrees Celsius respectively.
Yellow alert of heatwave from 23 April
According to the Meteorological Department, the heat will increase once again from 23 April. Strong surface winds will blow during the day and the temperature can also cross 40 degrees. The Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert of heatwave for Gautam Buddh Nagar, Gurugram and Faridabad on 23-24 April. During this time, the maximum temperature can be recorded at 41 degrees and the minimum at 50 degrees. The weather in Delhi may remain clear on 24 April.
No change on 25 and 26 as well
According to the Meteorological Department, there will be no change in the weather on 25 and 26 April as well. The temperature may also remain almost the same as in the previous days. However, Delhi may remain cloudy on 26 April.
