Rahul Gandhi reaches US on 2-day tour, his itinerary includes…, Indian Overseas Congress …

New Delhi: Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha and Congress MP Rahul Gandhi is on a two-day visit to the United States. The Congress MP arrived at Boston Logan International Airport on Saturday, April 19. He was given a grand welcome at Boston Logan International Airport. Members of the Indian Overseas Congress welcomed the MP with flowers at the airport.

Overseas Congress chief Sam Pitroda personally greeted him at the airport. Pitroda posted on X: “Welcome to the USA, Rahul Gandhi! A voice for the youth, for democracy, and for a better future. Let’s listen, learn, and build together. #RahulGandhiUSA #YoungIndiaSpeaks #SamPitroda”.

Rahul Gandhi will participate in discussions with students and faculty at Brown University on April 21 and 22. The Congress MP is also expected to engage with members of the NRI community and officials of the Indian Overseas Congress during his visit.

Congress leader Pawan Khera had previously announced Rahul Gandhi’s trip to the US, stating that Gandhi would give a lecture at the university. He had posted on X: “Former Congress President Mr. Rahul Gandhi will be visiting Brown University, in Rhode Island, United States, on the 21st and 22nd of April. He will be giving a talk and interacting with faculty members and students. Prior to visiting Rhode Island, Mr. Gandhi will meet with members of the NRI community, as well as office bearers and members of the Indian Overseas Congress (IOC)”.

This is Rahul Gandhi’s second visit to America in recent months. In September 2024, he went to America for a three-day tour, during which he participated in events at Texas University in Dallas and Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. This was his first international trip after assuming the role of opposition leader.
