However, the world’s second tallest building is no where less than Burj Khalifa, though its height is very less, but it still has unique features as compared with the world’s tallest building.

The Burj Khalifa, completed in 2010, is an icon of Dubai. It has a height of 828 meters (2,717 feet). It used 330,000 cubic meters of concrete and 55,000 tons of steel in its construction.
2. Merdeka 118, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
In second place is the Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It has height of 679 meters (2,227 feet).‘Merdeka’ means ‘freedom’ in Malay, and ‘118’ is the number of floors in the building.
It’s used for different purposes like houses and offices, residential flats, luxury hotels, shops, and more.
3. Shanghai Tower – Shanghai, China

4. Makkah Royal Clock Tower, Mecca, Saudi Arabia
In fourth place, the Makkah Royal Clock Tower, located near the Kaaba in Mecca. It has a height of 601 meters (1,972 feet) and is famous for its world’s largest clock face.
