Govt focused on providing better infra: Commerce Minister
Stressing the need to ensure better infrastructure facilities for citizens, Haryana Industries and Commerce Minister Rao Narbir Singh has said all developmental works proposed by the public within the framework of government norms would be given priority, and implemented on the ground.
The all-round development of Gurugram remained a key priority for the ‘triple-engine government’, he added.
He was addressing a gathering after laying the foundation stone for various developmental works in Mohammadpur village, under the jurisdiction of the Gurugram Municipal Corporation, on Saturday.
Gurugram Mayor Raj Rani Malhotra was also present at the event.
Singh talked about various government schemes, and said the government was highly sensitive and fully committed to the holistic development of the state. He said he was making continuous efforts to make Gurugram a clean, beautiful and pollution-free city, and urged the public to actively participate in these initiatives.
“Developmental schemes are being implemented at the ground level across Gurugram, and to ensure that these projects are completed with quality and in line with public convenience, the cooperation and vigilance of area residents is essential,” he added. Rao said the construction of a community centre at the village would soon be completed by the HSIIDC, and land for the project had already been identified by the local administration.
