Leptospirosis, shigellosis, hepatitis A cases rising in Kerala

There were 3,525 leptospirosis cases in 2024, up from 2,482 in 2022. In 2024, there were 7,966 hepatitis A cases; the figure was 231 in 2022. The State reported 119 cases of shigella in 2024 and 83 cases in 2022
