14-Year-Old Vaibhav Suryavanshi Announces Arrival With First-Ball Six In IPL — WATCH

Rajasthan Royals' Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the youngest player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at just 14 years and 23 days, smacked the first ball of his IPL career for a six during the Rajasthan Royals (RR) vs Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium, Jaipur on April 19 (Saturday).

Vaibhav Suryavanshi took the non-striker's end as Rajasthan Royals' chase began in the 36th IPL match. However, Yashasvi Jaiswal took a single on the third ball of Shardul Thakur's over, prompting the 14-year-old to take the strike. Facing the very first ball of his IPL career, Suryavanshi moved towards the leg side and effortlessly carved the good length delivery outside off over the cover region for a stunning maximum. The shot left everyone stunned — his partner, the bowler and even Rishabh Pant couldn’t help but watch in awe.
