Xiaomi sub-brand Redmi has introduced a new compact projector Redmi Projector 3 Lite. This projector is designed for streaming first generation which is portable, smart and provides comfort at home. Talking about the price, the Redmi Projector 3 Lite is priced at 699 yuan (about Rs 8,197). This projector is available for sale on JD.com. Its sale will start in the Chinese market from April 22.

The Redmi Projector 3 Lite has a fully sealed optical engine with a full glass lens array, which provides up to 20 degrees side projection while maintaining image clarity. It comes with an upgraded cooling system that reduces fan noise by 2dB(A), making it easier to watch movies all night long. The projector has a brightness of 180 CVIA lumens, providing sharp 1080p playback in dark settings. It supports a 1.2:1 throw ratio, allowing users to project a screen size of up to 100 inches from a short distance. It is also certified for low blue light by SGS, which filters out wavelengths between 415-455nm, reducing eye fatigue when viewed for long periods of time.

This projector has a quad-core Amlogic T950S processor clocked at 1.5GHz. It has 1GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. This projector manages the light streaming app and Xiaomi’s HyperOS Connect. Talking about the dimensions, the length of this projector is 146 mm, width 113 mm, thickness 172.5 mm and weight is just 1.2 kg, due to which it can be easily carried anywhere for portable viewing.

The projector has a ToF laser sensor for automatic focus and keystone correction. Just turn it on and it automatically adjusts for better clarity. Connectivity options include HDMI with ARC in 3 lights, USB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack and dual band Wi-Fi. It comes with a Bluetooth remote that supports voice commands, making navigation easier.
