Mangal Prabhat Lodha Announces Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ekatma Manav Darshan Hirak Mahotsav At Ruia College, Celebrating 60 Years Of His Ideology
Mumbai: In April 1965, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay, idealouge of Jan Sangh, first presented his thoughts on "Ekatma Manav Darshan and Antyodaya" at Ruia College, Matunga. Sixty years later, at the very same venue and date, the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Ekatma Manav Darshan Hirak Mahotsav will be held from April 22 to 25, minister for skill development Mangal Prabhat Lodha stated at a press conference.
The festival will be inaugurated by chief minister Devendra Fadnavis in the presence of Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra governors R. N. Ravi and C. P. Radhakrishnan respectively, Union Minister Shri Piyush Goyal and RSS leaders Krishna Gopal, Manmohan Vaidya, Sunil Ambekar, B. L. Santosh, and Suresh Soni.
"Pandit Upadhyay introduced a distinct ideological stream into Indian politics. Through concepts like 'Ekatma Manav Darshan and Antyodaya', he emphasized development for the last person of the societal pyramid. Today, the influence of his ideas is evident in the leadership and work of PM Narendra Modi, home minister Amit Shah and Fadnavis. Across all schemes being implemented at the national and state level, Panditji’s values shine through — be it fulfilling basic needs like food, clothing, shelter, education, or citizen safety. His ideology was not just theoretical, but a roadmap for actionable, inclusive progress," Lodha observed.
The Mahotsav will host discussions on themes like geo-cultural nationalism, Bharat’s identity, reforms in public opinion, India’s development model, and Panditji’s economic thinking. Lodha urged people to register themselves for participating in the programme. Registrations can be done at http://www.ekatmamanavdarshan.org
