Harshita and Sambhav’s love story began during their student days at IIT Delhi. Harshita, the elder of the two Kejriwal siblings, pursued Chemical Engineering and graduated in 2018. Her younger brother, Pulkit Kejriwal, is currently studying at the same institute. After graduation, Harshita worked as an Associate Consultant at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Gurugram.
Sambhav Jain, too, has a strong academic and professional background. The two bonded over their shared vision for creating impact-driven ventures, which eventually led to the founding of their health-tech start-up.
A passion project turned business
In the months leading up to their wedding, Harshita and Sambhav co-founded Basil Health-a health-tech company focused on using automation to deliver personalised, nutritious meals. The inspiration behind Basil Health stemmed from Harshita’s own experiences balancing a demanding consulting career with healthy eating habits. Together, the couple aims to revolutionise how urban professionals access wellness-focused food solutions.
