Police constable, civilian arrested for accepting bribe in Thane

In Thane, Police Constable Ganesh Rathod and civilian Gupta were arrested by the Anti-Corruption Bureau for accepting a ₹5,000 bribe. Rathod initially demanded ₹20,000 to settle a motorcycle dispute case, later reduced to ₹5,000. Gupta was caught accepting the money on Shilfata-Mahape Road, leading to both suspects being taken into custody under the Prevention of Corruption Act.
