● The hailstorm has also damaged crops in villages and nearby areas. The crops in the fields have been completely destroyed. Brinjal, tomato, cabbage, ladyfinger and creeper vegetables have been damaged.

Two people died in Santhal and Koyalanchal

Apart from Ranchi, some areas of Santhal and Koyalanchal also received intermittent rain. While one person died in Giridih due to lightning, a child hiding inside a shed died in Godda when it collapsed. Two others were also injured in the accident in Godda, who have been referred to Bhagalpur Medical College.

Hailstorm occurred in many areas of the capital Ranchi. Hailstones weighing 100 to 200 grams have been reported at many places.
