Mukesh Ambani’s company, Reliance Industries, is preparing to reward its shareholders with a dividend. The company has informed the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) that a board meeting is scheduled for April 25. During this meeting, the financial results for the January–March quarter of FY 2024-25 (Q4) will be announced. Along with that, the board will also discuss and likely recommend a dividend on equity shares.
The has confirmed that it will announce its financial results for the fourth quarter on April 25, 2025. On the same day, the board will also consider and possibly recommend a final dividend for the financial year 2024–25.
In an official statement, the company added that the financial performance for both the March quarter and the full year ending March 31, 2025, will be shared with analysts following the board meeting.
Plans to raise funds
Reliance Industries also revealed that it is planning to raise funds. The company is considering issuing listed, secured or unsecured, non-convertible debentures through private placement, possibly in one or more tranches.
Stock movement
On the last trading day, which was Thursday, Reliance shares saw a nearly 3 per cent jump. The stock closed at Rs. 1,274.55, up 2.90 per cent from the previous day. Due to Good Friday, the markets remained closed on Friday, and trading will resume on Monday. Investors are expected to keep a close watch on Reliance’s stock.
Earlier, on April 7, 2025, the stock had touched a low of Rs. 1,115.55, marking its 52-week low. On the other hand, its 52-week high stands at Rs. 1,608.95.
How did Reliance perform in the December quarter?
On January 16, Reliance Industries announced its financial results for the December 2023 quarter, and the numbers were stronger than expected. The company’s net profit rose by 11.9 per cent, reaching Rs. 21,804 crore—beating market estimates.
Revenue from operations for Q3 FY24 stood at Rs. 2,43,865 crore, which was a 6.97 per cent increase compared to Rs. 2,27,970 crore reported in the same quarter a year earlier.
Reliance’s retail segment also showed solid performance, generating ₹90,333 crore in revenue during the quarter. That’s an 8.8 per cent growth compared to the same period last year.
