Harshita Kejriwal, daughter of Aam Aadmi Party leader and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, tied the knot with her longtime friend Sambhav Jain, in an intimate ceremony held on Friday, April 18. The wedding took place at Kapurthala House in Delhi. Before their big day, the couple got engaged in a close-knit event at the luxurious Shangri-La Eros Hotel in Delhi. Since the wedding, photos of the celebration have surfaced across social media platforms, with many sharing heartfelt wishes and congratulatory messages for the couple.
Among the notable attendees were Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, both of whom share a long-standing bond with the Kejriwal family. The celebration also saw the presence of AAP leader and Delhi Minister Gopal Rai. popular Bollywood singer Mika Singh also joined in. As per reports, the reception for Harshita and Sambhav is set to take place on April 20, with preparations already in full swing.
Who is Sambhav Jain?
The newlyweds first crossed paths during their time at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, where both pursued their academic journeys. What began as a college friendship eventually blossomed into a deeper bond over the years.
Sambhav Jain is currently working as a project management consultant at a private firm named Genie. Alongside their professional careers, Harshita and Sambhav have also ventured into entrepreneurship together by co-founding a healthcare startup called Basil Health, according to various reports.
About Harshita Kejriwal
Harshita Kejriwal, the eldest child and only daughter of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and his wife Sunita Kejriwal. She shares a close bond with her younger brother, Pulkit Kejriwal, who is currently studying at IIT Delhi—the same institute where Harshita once pursued her education.
An alumna of IIT Delhi, Harshita graduated in 2018 with a degree in Chemical Engineering. It was during her time at IIT that she met Sambhav.
Soon after completing her studies, Harshita began her career as an Associate Consultant at the prestigious Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in Gurugram. Her consulting journey, came with its own set of lifestyle challenges especially around maintaining a healthy diet amidst hectic work schedules. Drawing inspiration from those experiences, she co-founded Basil Health with Sambhav Jain.
Their startup is built on a mission to simplify healthy eating. Using automation and personalization, Basil Health aims to provide nutritious meals tailored to individual needs, making it easier for people to adopt and sustain a healthier lifestyle.
