Earlier, the Governor inaugurated the auditorium hall of the university, built at a cost of Rs 9.5 crore.

The university has acquired about 100 acres, which is an important step for its future development. The construction of modern buildings, teaching facilities and research centres will soon begin on this land.”

“This university is doing commendable work in the field of education, research, innovation and social service. The model adopted by the university to teach traditional medicine with a scientific approach is exemplary. The research work done here has established new dimensions in the field of ayurveda, yoga and homoeopathy. The research work done on the effectiveness of ayurvedic medicines has received praise at national and international levels,” the Governor said.
