Panvel Municipal Corporation Launches Anti-Encroachment Drive, Demolishes Unauthorised Structures In Navade Subdivision
Navi Mumbai: In a decisive move against unauthorised constructions, the Panvel Municipal Corporation (PMC) has launched a comprehensive anti-encroachment drive in the Navade subdivision. Over the past two days, multiple illegally constructed warehouses and structures have been demolished.
The campaign commenced with the demolition of an unauthorized warehouse in Nagzhari Chawl, Navade. The structure, erected without PMC approval, was dismantled using heavy machinery, including JCBs and Pokland excavators.
Further actions were taken in the Dhranankamp Bottle Compound area, where several unauthorized warehouses were identified and demolished. The PMC has reiterated its commitment to removing all illegal structures within its jurisdiction and has urged residents and businesses to obtain proper approvals before undertaking any construction activities.
Deputy Commissioner Ravikiran Ghodke emphasised that unauthorised constructions will not be tolerated and that the PMC will continue its efforts to maintain orderly urban development. He also appealed to the public to cooperate with the municipal authorities in ensuring compliance with building regulations.
