India warns Pakistani Army Chief Asim Munir… says ‘Vacate PoK as soon as possible, or else…’

India has rejected Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir ‘s controversial remarks in which he claimed that Kashmir is Islamabad’s “jugular vein”. “How can something foreign be someone’s ‘jugular vein’? This means, no external power has any locus in India’s internal matters. Jammu and Kashmir is a union territory of India. Pakistan’s only relationship with Kashmir is that it vacates the territory illegally occupied by India,” said India’s Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal.

The Foreign Ministry said, ‘Pakistan’s only relation with Kashmir is to vacate the illegally occupied territory.’ He asked, ‘How can a foreign object get stuck in the jugular vein?’ In fact, this statement is a direct attack on Pakistan’s long-standing stance in which it has been calling Kashmir its part.

Befitting reply to Pakistani Army Chief

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday reacted strongly to recent remarks by Pakistan Army chief General Asim Munir. The Army chief said, “It is time for India to accept the truth and give up hope of forging close ties with Pakistan.”

Sharma wrote on the social media platform ‘X’, “In his recent address, Pakistan Army Chief General Asim Munir clearly stated that there is a deep ideological gap between India and Pakistan.” Quoting Munir, the Chief Minister said that he has clearly stated that India and Pakistan are fundamentally different countries, as the religion, customs, traditions, thinking and ambitions of the two countries are different from each other in every aspect.
