Speaking of his schooling, Chaitanya Aggarwal studied at St. Anne’s Convent School in Sector 32, Chandigarh, until Class 10, and completed his Class 12 from Sri Guru Harkrishan Public Senior Secondary School in Sector 40.

In 2019, Chaitanya Aggarwal achieved an impressive 98.40% in Class 10. In 2021, he scored 97.00% in Class 12. In an interview with Hindustan Times(2021), Chaitanya said, “I have always been keen about innovation, so engineering was a logical choice. I studied for around 10-12 hours per day, with focus on revision,”

A resident of Phase 5, Mohali, Aggarwal enjoyed listening to music and playing the guitar. The news report further mentioned that he was also passionate about cycling and mentioned that as soon as smart cycles were introduced to the public in Chandigarh, he went to try them out.

Later, he took admission at the Indian Institute of Technology(IIT) Bombay. His father, Sanjeev Gupta, works in the real estate business, while his mother, Nisha Singla, is a senior nursing officer at PGIMER, Chandigarh. As per his LinkedIn profile, Chaitanya pursued a Bachelor of Technology – BTech, Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. In 2024, Chaitanya worked as a Quantitative Researcher at Optiver. The internship was based in Amsterdam-Zuid, North Holland, Netherlands, with an on-site work arrangement.
