OPPO F29 Series Sets New Standard for 5G Performance in Partnership with Jio

New Delhi – OPPO has partnered with Reliance Jio to deliver top-tier 5G performance with its newly launched F29 Series, positioned as a game-changer in the Rs 20,000– Rs 30,000 smartphone segment. The F29 Series underwent rigorous testing on Jio’s standalone (SA) 5G network and stood out for its superior download and upload speeds, especially in metros like Mumbai and Bengaluru.

Jio’s greenfield SA 5G network, built with advanced features such as carrier aggregation, is the backbone of this collaboration. According to Ookla, Jio currently holds the title of India’s fastest mobile network—a claim reinforced by the F29’s performance results.

At the core of this success is OPPO’s Hunter Antenna Architecture, which uses a symmetrical layout and industry-leading 200mm antenna coverage. This design ensures minimal signal drop, even during gaming or streaming, regardless of phone orientation.

The F29 Series also debuts 4×4 MIMO support across B40, B3, and B39 bands—making it a first in its segment—and integrates AI LinkBoost 2.0 to intelligently adjust network settings in real-time. A dedicated gaming WiFi antenna provides an uplink boost of up to 4dB for smoother, lag-free gameplay.

Under the hood, the F29 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Energy chip, while the F29 runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen1. Both models offer high durability with IP69/IP68/IP66 ratings and OPPO’s 360° Damage-Proof Armour.

For power users, the F29 packs a 6,500mAh battery with 45W SUPERVOOC charging, while the Pro version comes with a 6,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging. Reverse charging and five-year battery health are standard across both.
