Campus notes: Tribune school

The Tribune School, Sector 29, organised an engaging and development workshop for students of Classes 6 to 12 on the theme “Become a Better Version of Yourself”. The session was held in collaboration with the Inner Wheel Club, Mohali Blissful, and featured Apeksha Kotahwala Garg as the keynote speaker of the Inner Wheel Club, Mohali Blissful. The workshop aimed to nurture essential life skills among students, boost self-esteem, and help them reflect on their personal strengths and areas of improvement. Principal, Rani Poddar expressed gratitude to Apeksha and the Inner Wheel Club Mohali Blissful.

Rayat Bahra University

The University School of Allied Health Sciences, Rayat Bahra University, organised a two-day international conference on “Innovations in biomedical research and technologies for better patient care". Dr AK Attri, Director Principal, GMCH-32, was the chief guest at the inaugural session and Dr Vipin Kaushal, Medical Superintendent, PGIMER, at the valedictory function. In all, 600 professionals from India and abroad attended the conference in virtual and physical mode.

AKSIPS, Sector 41

An interactive workshop on Active Learning Strategies was conducted at AKSIPS 41, by Jaspreet Kaur, CBSE Certified Principal, Paragon Senior Secondary School, Mohali, and Rajesh Kumar Bansal, Principal, Century Public School, Nayagaon. A total of 69 educators participated in the workshop. The session aimed to equip educators with effective techniques to enhance active engagement of students through experiential and collaborative learning.

SIS Public School Phase 7

SIS Public School, Phase 7,celebrated the festival of Baisakhi with great enthusiasm and gaiety. A special assembly was organised wherein students presented an exquisite cultural show. The assembly began with morning prayer followed by vibrant Bhangra performance by class l and Class 2 students.

Guru Harkrishan Public School

Guru Harkrishan Public School, Dera Bassi celebrated Baisakhi with enthusiasm in the school auditorium. The program began with speeches on the significance of Vaisakhi, followed by colorful performances including traditional dances like Bhangra and Giddha, and melodious songs by the students.

Shishu Niketan Public School

Shishu Niketan Public School, Sector 5, Panchkula hosted a capacity building programme (CBP) on stress management organised by CBSE. The workshop conducted by Harsimran Kaur and Sarika Malik, aimed to equip teachers with essential stress management techniques. Almost 65 teachers including guest teachers participated in the workshop.

KD DAV, Sector 7

To raise awareness about the Health Issues and to promote Healthier Life Styles, World Health Week under the banner ”Healthy Children make Happy Children” was celebrated at KBDAV School, Sector 7. The Health Awareness Programme began with the Introduction of Health Pledge, followed by Session on Yoga and Meditation.
