Trump Towers 2.0: Gurugram to host Rs. 2,200-crore ultra-luxury twin skyscrapers

Real estate firms Smartworld Developers and Tribeca Developers announced on Wednesday that they would be developing an ultra-luxury residential project in Gurugram under the Donald Trump brand with a total investment of around Rs. 2,200 crores.
Set to be completed in five years, this will be the sixth project in India under the Trump brand, and the second in Gurugram itself, making it the only city after New York to host two Trump Towers.
Comprising nearly 300 units, this residential complex—specifically, two 51-storey towers rising to a height of about 200m—spans an area of 12 lakh square feet. According to Smartworld Developers co-founder Pankaj Bansal, the cost per square feet of the new apartment project was Rs. 27,000, with full apartments priced anywhere between Rs. 8-12 crores.
While Smartworld Developers will be tasked with construction, Tribeca Developers, the official representatives of the Trump brand in India, will lead the design, marketing, sales and quality PMC (project management consultancy).
In association with the M3M Group which owns Smartworld Developers, Tribeca is currently developing the first Trump project in Gurugram, and will begin giving possession from this month onwards.
"We are incredibly excited to launch our second project in Gurgaon (Gurugram), and even prouder to be doing it once again with our amazing partners at Tribeca, M3M & Smartworld," said Eric Trump, Executive Vice President of the Trump Organisation.
"With this new development, we've pushed the boundaries of luxury like never before. I'm confident that Trump Residences Gurgaon will stand among the most iconic and spectacular properties in our global portfolio," he added.
Tribeca Developers founder Kalpesh Mehta explained that out of India's six Trump-branded projects announced so far, four were already completed in Pune, Mumbai, Kolkata and Gurugram, one of which was an office complex in Pune.
