'Didn't Want To Spend On Treatment': Cancer-Stricken Property Dealer Kills Wife Before Shooting Self In Ghaziabad

In a tragic incident, a 47-year-old man allegedly shot his wife dead before dying by suicide in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad. The incident took place on Wednesday morning in Radhakunj Colony, under the jurisdiction of Nandgram Police Station.

The couple reportedly left behind a suicide note, which revealed the heartbreaking reason behind the extreme step.

According to reports, the deceased, identified as Kuldeep Tyagi, a resident of the Sihani area under Nandgram Police Station limits, was battling cancer.

Kuldeep allegedly used his licensed revolver to fatally shoot his 45-year-old wife, Neeshu Tyagi, before turning the gun on himself.

Upon being alerted, the police reached the spot and found the room locked from the inside. After breaking open the door, they transported the couple to the hospital, where doctors declared them brought dead.

A suicide note was recovered from the scene. In the note, Kuldeep reportedly stated that he was suffering from cancer and had kept the illness hidden from his family. He expressed that he did not want his family to bear the financial burden of his treatment, which led him to take this drastic step.

The police have launched an investigation into the matter to verify all the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.
