Bengaluru Weather: City To Experience Moderate To Heavy Rainfall; IMD Issues Yellow Alert In These Regions Of Karnataka

Bengaluru: Karnataka's capital city, Bengaluru, is set to witness moderate to heavy rainfall on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. The city woke up at 06:07 AM with a partly cloudy sky this morning, and it is likely to remain the same throughout the day.

The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to range from 23 degrees Celsius and 32 degrees Celsius, respectively. The city is expected to witness the sunset at 06:32 PM. The humidity is expected to be around 63 per cent. The wind is expected to blow from the Southwest at 11 km/h.

IMD predicts rainfall in these regions

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a five-day weather forecast for Karnataka. Moderate to heavy rainfall is predicted in 14 districts of Karnataka, and it will be accompanied by thunderstorms, lightning, and gusty winds. The India Meteorological Department has issued a yellow alert in the city. According to the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre (KSNDMC), moderate rainfall and squalls with gusty winds are expected in North Interior Karnataka, South Interior Karnataka, and coastal regions.

KSNDMC shared a weather report for the next five days on X and wrote, "Thunderstorms, lightning, and gale force winds with gusts reaching 30-40 kmph are likely across the state for the next 5 days, with scattered moderate rainfall in the North Interior and South Interior districts."

April 18: Widespread rainfall is predicted in April 18, 2025. The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to be around 23 degrees Celsius and 33 degrees Celsius, respectively.

April 19: Residents of the city will experience cloudy skies and pleasent weather on Sunday. The minimum and maximum temperatures are likely to be around 23 and 33 degrees Celsius, respectively.
