Follow Dr Ambedkar’s Path To Build Knowledgeable Society Through Reading: Collector Dilip Swami
“The thought of unity, equality, and fraternity of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and his work were assimilated into society through the Indian Constitution. We should be the followers of Dr. Ambedkar to create a knowledgeable society by reading,” appealed District Collector Dilip Swami.
He was speaking at a programme organised at the District Collectorate on the occasion of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar’s birth anniversary on Monday. The initiative ‘Vachan Katta’ was inaugurated on the occasion. Additional District Collector Praveen Fulari, Resident Deputy District Collector Vinod Khirolkar, Deputy District Collector Sangeeta Rathod, Umakant Pardhi, Suchita Shinde, Sub-Divisional Officer Vyankat Rathod, Neelam Bafna, officers and employees were present.
Swami further said that Dr. Ambedkar read several books published all over the world. He studied constitutions of various countries and drafted a very unique and complete constitution for India. Everyone should follow him and read as much as possible to create an ideal society, he said.
Fulari said Dr. Ambedkar provided rights to everyone on the basis of fraternity, justice, equality, and peace. His work will be remembered in the world forever.
Suchita Shinde shed light on various aspects of the life and work of Dr. Ambedkar, including his social commitment, education, women-related work, laws for labourers, and others.
