'Mumbai Mein Blast Hone Wala Hai...': Man Held In Borivali For Hoax Bomb Threat; Phone And SIM Seized

Mumbai: Mumbai Police detained a man from Borivali for making a hoax call today at 2:30 PM, claiming that a bomb blast would take place in the city. The call, which was made to the Mumbai Police Control Room, created panic and prompted immediate security checks at sensitive locations.

The suspected accused has been identified as Suraj Jadhav, a resident of Vakola in Santacruz.

Upon investigation, the police traced the call to the Borivali area and swiftly apprehended the caller. Authorities confirmed that the alert was false and no explosives were found. The accused is currently being questioned to determine the motive behind the hoax.

Mumbai Police have warned that strict action will be taken against those who spread false information or attempt to disrupt public peace. The mobile phone and SIM card used to make the hoax call have also been seized by the police. Further investigation is underway.
