Shocking! Indonesian Obstetrician Accused Of Sexual Harassment During Ultrasound, Caught On CCTV (VIDEO)
Garut, West Java: A disturbing case of alleged sexual harassment has emerged from Garut, West Java, where an obstetrician has been accused of inappropriate conduct during a routine ultrasound examination.
The incident came to light after a CCTV footage from the doctor’s clinic surfaced on social media, reportedly capturing the male doctor touching a female patient inappropriately.
The footage, now widely shared across social media, appears to show the doctor conducting an ultrasound with one hand while the other hand touches the patient’s chest, raising serious ethical concerns. The video was first shared by dentist Mirza Mangku Anom via Instagram, sparking widespread condemnation within the medical community.

In his Instagram Story, Mirza criticised the doctor's actions, calling them unprofessional and a stain on the integrity of medical practitioners. “Please, work professionally and with dignity,” he wrote on Monday, April 14, as quoted by Jakarta Insider. He questioned the absence of a nurse or midwife during the examination, a standard protocol aimed at ensuring transparency and safeguarding patient dignity.
"Why is this practice not accompanied by a nurse/midwife?" he asked, pointing out that this lack of supervision could enable misconduct. Mirza also noted the prolonged contact and inappropriate hand placement, stating, “If there was an examination under the breast, the patient should have been asked to raise her own clothes, or be assisted by a nurse.”
Social Media Outrage On the CCTV Clip
The CCTV footage was met with massive backlash on social media, with netizens demanding a thorough investigation and disciplinary action. In a follow-up Instagram post, Mirza shared a message from a follower who claimed that “this case has been widely discussed in Garut,” hinting that it may not be an isolated incident.
Authorities are yet to confirm if an official investigation is underway.
