Anna Lezhneva, is widely recognised as the wife of Telugu actor and politician Pawan Kalyan. She is a Russian model and actress, who first met her husband in 2011 on the sets of Telugu film Teen Maar. Eventually, their friendship blossomed into love, resulting in their marriage on September 30, 2013.
The 45-year-old is 8 years younger than Pawan, who is 53. In 2017, the couple became parents to their son Mark Shankar Pawanovich. Anna also has a daughter, Polena Anjana Pawanova, from her previous marriage, whom Pawan has adopted.
In July 2024, Anna secured a Master of Arts degree from the National University of Singapore. In addition to her acting and modelling background, she reportedly works in hospitality industry, and owns hotel chains in Singapore. According to reports, she owns properties in both Russia and Singapore, which is estimated to be valued at around Rs 1800 crore, combining her other assets.
The couple have occasionally made headlines for the rumours of trouble in their marriage because of Kalyan’s past marriages. The Telugu superstar first tied the knot with 19-year-old Nandini in 1997, but they got divorced in 2008. Later, he got married to Renu Desai in 2009 and welcomed two children- Akira Nandan and Aadhya. But, the two parted ways afters few years of marriage in 2012.
Anna has been a strong pillar of support in Pawan’s acting and political career. She stood by him through thick and think and celebrated his victory, effectively keeping all the rumours aside. She currently lives in Singapore, where she is pursuing her academics, as well as fulfilling her parental duties. Her kids also stay with her and the family prefers to stay away from the spotlight, leading a largely private life.
Recently, Ana went to Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple, where she donated her hair as an act of devotion. The visit held a special emotional significance as it comes while her son, Mark Shankar, continues to recover from injuries sustained in a tragic school fire accident.
