Divyanka Tripathi, Vivek Dahiya To Get Divorced 9 Years After Marriage? Latter Says 'Aur Lamba Hoga Toh...'

Of late, reports have been doing the rounds that one of the most popular actresses on television, Divyanka Tripathi, and her husband, actor Vivek Dahiya, are heading for a divorce after nine years of marriage. While the couple remained tightlipped at first, Vivek has now finally ended his silence, and debunked the rumours.

Vivek recently attended an event in Mumbai wherein he was asked about the speculations around his married life. Quashing all the rumours, he said, "We are enjoying it. Divyanka and I were laughing at it. We were having icecream and we thought 'Aur lamba hoga toh popcorn bhi mangwa lenge'."

Vivek then went on to urge people to not encourage clickbait videos on social media. "I also make YouTube vlogs. I know how clickbait works. You upload something sensational and people are bound to come and watch it. But we must not encourage such unreal claims," he stated.

For those unversed, Divyanka and Vivek first met on the sets of the popular daily soap, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein. While the actress played the lead in the show, Vivek joined in much later as a cop. It was on those sets that the two fell in love.

On July 8, 2016, they got married in a grand ceremony in the presence of their friends and family members. In 2017, they participated in the dance reality show Nach Baliye 8, and emerged as the winner.

Divyanka marked her television debut with Banoo Main Teri Dulhann in 2006, and since then, there has been no looking back for her. She also featured in shows like Chintu Chinki Aur Ek Badi Si Love Story, Adaalat, Ramayan, Savdhaan India, Crime Patrol, and others. In 2021, she was declared the first runner-up in the adventure reality show, Khatron Ke Khiladi 11.

Vivek, on the other hand, debuted with Yeh Hai Aashiqui, and went on to star in Veera, Kavach, Qayamat Ki Raat, Pavitra Rishta 2, among other shows.
