Heavy Rain Alert: India’s Meteorological Department has issued the biggest alert on rain. There is a warning about heavy rains and strong winds for the next 5 days. Along with this, there can be heavy lightning and hail in many parts of the country. There is a big reason behind this, so first of all know where and how much rain will fall for 5 consecutive days and then know why it will rain.

During the next 5 days, an alert has been issued for thunderstorms, strong winds at the speed of 40 to 50 kmph and rain in Northeast and East India. The weather will remain the same in the plains of Central India and Maharashtra on 14 and 15 April.

Apart from this, heavy rain warning has been issued in Odisha on 15 and 16 April. Rain alert has been issued in Assam and Meghalaya during 16 to 18 April and in Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura on 17 April.

Hailstorms may occur in eastern Madhya Pradesh on 14 April and in Jharkhand on 15 April. On 14 and 15 April, strong winds with a speed of 50 to 60 kmph may occur along with lightning at different places in the Gangetic plains of West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand.

During the next 5 days, an alert has been issued for thunderstorms along with strong winds at the speed of 30 to 40 kmph and rain in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana and interior Karnataka.

One upper air cyclonic circulation is over northeastern Madhya Pradesh, the second over Bangladesh and the third over the Gulf of Mannar at lower tropospheric levels. Apart from this, a Western Disturbance may occur over the western Himalayan region between 16 and 20 April. Its intensity will be highest on 18 and 19 April.
