Dehradun: Punches And Kicks Fly As Brawl Erupts Between 2 Groups; 'Why Women Assaulters Not Arrested?', Question Netizens (VIDEO)

Dehradun: Videos of a scuffle between three men and two women in Uttarakhand's Dehradun are going viral on social media. The incident reportedly took place at the Sahastradhara tourist spot in Dehradun. The police took cognizance of the viral videos and arrested the three men in Dehradun's Rajpur area on Sunday.

The arrested youths have been identified as Pramod Singh, Akash Singh and Gaurav Rawat. In the viral videos, it could be seen that an ugly fight broke out between the three men and two women. However, the exact reason which led to the brawl is not known.

Visuals Of The Incident:

All the arrested men are in their 20s and are residents of Uttarakhand's Pauri Garhwal district, reported The Times of India.

Three Youths Arrested:

"In the video which was circulated on Saturday, the three could be seen beating a young girl near Sahastradhara. Based on the registration numbers of their two scooters, police found out their details and summoned them to Rajpur police station," Dehradun SSP Ajai Singh said as reported by the media house.

Netizens Reaction:

However, netizens are questioning the arrest of only three men and no action against the women. Notably, in the viral videos, the two women could also heard beating and abusing the men. In one of the videos, a girl could also be seen hitting a man with a belt.

"Hello @DehradunPolice You arrested all 3 boys who beat up a woman, but haven't taken any action on these women who are beating up the man. Why this discrimination?" an X user wrote.

"In these videos of Sahastradhara in Dehradun, is only the girl being beaten up? Who is using the belt? Who is abusing?" another user said.

The action was taken against the youths under the Police Act and their vehicle was seized under the MV Act.
