Pune Shocker! Man Squeezes Lemon Smeared With Haldi-Kumkum In Wife's Private Parts To Avenge Alimony Demand After Having Sex Forcibly

In a shocking case of domestic abuse from Pune, a husband forcibly physically abused his estranged wife by putting a sickle around her neck and squeezing four slices of lemon stuffed with Haldi, Kumkum into her private parts in an alleged attempt at black magic.

He allegedly did this as the wife was asking for allimony in divorce case.

As per the report by Civic Mirror, this incident took place in Vishalnagar in Pimple Nilakh last year, which is considered to be an elite area in Pimpri Chinchwad. The woman lodged the case on April 11 at Sangvi Police Station.

As per the complaint filed by the 36-year-old woman, detailing an incident that occurred in 2023 at her husband’s residence in Vishalnagar. The couple, married since 2004 and parents to two children, had been living separately due to ongoing disputes.

According to the complaint, the woman had gone to her husband’s flat to collect school materials for their children, who were waiting downstairs with her mother and aunt. During her visit, she was allegedly sexually assaulted and abused by her husband, who was reportedly intoxicated at the time. The complaint further states that the woman was threatened and subjected to disturbing treatment during the encounter.

'I have cast a spell on you. You are going to go crazy now.

"Since the husband was drunk, the wife did not respond to him. The husband then took out a sickle from the house and placed this sickle around her neck and forced her to remove her clothes. Despite the wife's unwillingness, he had sexual intercourse with her. Afterward, the husband brought four slices of lemon from the house, applied haldi and kumkum on them, and squeezed these lemon slices into his wife's private parts. He also threatened, 'I have cast a spell on you. You are going to go crazy now. If you tell anyone about this incident, I will murder you.' After all this, the woman went home with her mother and children without saying anything to anyone. A few days later, she told her mother and aunt about the incident," states the complaint.

After confiding in her family, the woman reached out to social activist Deepak Kamble, who then assisted her in approaching the police. The case is currently under investigation by a female officer.

Senior Police Inspector Mahesh Bansode of Sangvi Police Station confirmed the filing of the complaint. “We have registered the case based on the woman’s statement. Although the charges fall under a section punishable by less than seven years, necessary legal action has been initiated. A female officer is investigating the matter.”
