Breaking: PM Modi Slams Congress Over Ambedkar Legacy, Social Justice, and Waqf Law During His Hisar Rally
Addressing a massive public rally in Hisar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the Congress, accusing it of attempting to erase Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s vision and legacy. He said Congress only used the Constitution for political gains and propagated vote bank politics instead of promoting equality. PM Modi stated that while Dr. Ambedkar wanted every poor and marginalized citizen to live with dignity, Congress reduced SCs, STs, and OBCs to second-class citizens during its long rule. Highlighting developmental strides under BJP rule, Modi noted that only 16% rural homes had tap water even after 70 years of independence, but his government provided tap connections to over 12 crore homes. He also credited his government for developing five key places associated with Ambedkar as “Panchteerth.” PM Modi criticized Congress for denying Bharat Ratna to Ambedkar and Chaudhary Charan Singh, and alleged that under Congress, government jobs required money or political links. He praised Haryana’s BJP government for reforming recruitment and also cited the implementation of One Rank One Pension. He accused Congress of misusing Waqf laws for appeasement and challenged its sincerity towards Muslims, questioning why it never made a Muslim party president.
