'Will Blow Up Car With Bomb': Salman Khan Gets Another Death Threat On Mumbai Police Helpline, FIR Lodged

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan received yet another death threat on Monday, this time via WhatsApp on the official helpline number of the Worli Traffic Department in Mumbai. In the message, the miscreant warned that the actor would be attacked inside his Bandra residence.

The threatening message also stated that the actor's vehicle would be blown up with a bomb.

Soon after the message was received, the Worli Police registered an FIR against the unknown sender, and efforts are now being made to trace the source of the message.

Salman and his team are yet to issue an official statement on the threat. Meanwhile, security has been heightened around the actor as well as his Galaxy Apartments residence in Bandra.

Salman has been at the receiving end of constant threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang since April 2024. Not just the actor, but his father Salim Khan was also targetted after a man dropped a threat letter near him during his morning walk.

Following the threats, Salman's security was beefed up and in January this year, the actor ramped up the security of his residence by installing bulletproof glass in the balcony of Galaxy Apartments.

The actor has also been advised to avoid shooting outdoors as much as possible, and while indoors too, he has been shooting with a restricted crew amid all security arrangements.

On Sunday, Salman was spotted at the Mumbai airport, however, he appeared to be in a rather serious and gloomy mood. His bodyguard Shera too seemed to be in a bad mood, as he was seen losing cool at the paparazzi for probably the first time. He also did not allow the paps to click photos and record videos of the superstar.
