Medyvend, an IoT powered medicine dispensing solution launched at Startup Mahakumbh 2025

New Delhi: Medyseva has unveiled MedyVend, an IoT-powered automated medicine dispensing kiosk, at Startup Mahakumbh 2025, India’s largest startup event.
Madhya Pradesh based Medyseva is on a mission to revolutionize rural healthcare through its innovative phygital model, which seamlessly integrates digital telemedicine, physical clinics, strategic hospital partnerships and now the AI-powered MedyVend medicine dispensers.
With Over 1000+ doctors with a combination of specialists and super specialists in 20+ specialities are available via the Medyseva app for patients in underserved regions with quality consultations remotely this digital reach is supported on the ground by 200+ satellite clinics across 10 states, ensuring continuity of care.
The introduction of MedyVend, an IoT-powered, 24/7 automated medicine dispensing kiosk, further strengthens this ecosystem by eliminating barriers to medicine access in remote areas—allowing patients to instantly receive prescribed medications without relying on traditional pharmacies. Medyseva’s expanding network now serves between 1.7 to 2.6 lakh people across Bhopal, Indore, Ujjain, and surrounding regions, setting a new benchmark for last-mile healthcare delivery in India.
Medyseva has pioneered a phygital approach to rural healthcare, blending the efficiency of telemedicine with the personal touch of in-person care. The platform enables rural patients to consult with over 1,000 doctors, while trained nurses and paramedics stationed at Medyseva’s satellite clinics conduct initial health assessments, diagnostic tests, and vital checks. These satellite clinics serve as critical healthcare hubs, ensuring that rural communities receive timely diagnoses and expert medical advice.
Once a doctor prescribes treatment via a teleconsultation, MedyVend dispenses the required medicines on the spot, eliminating the need for patients to travel long distances for essential medication. The system is further strengthened by Medyseva’s partnerships with over 5 private hospitals and 2 medical colleges, enabling referrals for specialized care when needed.
“Our goal is to make quality healthcare truly accessible to rural populations,” said Dr. Vishesh Kasliwal, Founder & CEO of Medyseva. “Across rural India, patients often have to travel 50–100 km just to access a doctor, and even after getting a prescription, they struggle to find pharmacies stocked with essential medicines. MedyVend directly addresses this issue by bridging the gap between consultation and treatment. Patients not only receive expert medical advice via telemedicine, but they also get instant access to prescribed medicines without unnecessary travel or delays.”
The IoT-enabled MedyVend kiosks are designed to provide real-time stock updates, enable cashless transactions, and integrate with teleconsultation services. Doctors can prescribe medications remotely, which are then dispensed instantly by MedyVend, ensuring patients receive accurate and timely treatment.
Dr. Vasundhara Shukla, COO, Medyseva, highlighted the scalability of the solution, stating, “We have successfully implemented MedyVend in parts of Madhya Pradesh for on-ground operational trials and the results have been transformative.”
